CollectingLiveArt is a non-profit curatorial
initiative committed to demystifying and
developing awareness of Live Art as a
collectable art form.
The presence of performance, video, installation and site-specific work within the visual arts is raising critical questions about the resonance,
collectability, legacy and sustainability of such ephemeral works.

CollectingLiveArt is committed to campaigning for the collecting
of such works that are in between and at the edges of artistic
disciplines. By identifying possibilities, expanding the collector’s
horizon and creating new frameworks for artists, this project seeks
to identify opportunities and new ways of documenting, re-enacting,
creating and collecting.
If you would like to be kept informed of developments please contact the project directors Teresa Calonje and Laura Eldret
